Shiranda has a rich background of more than 20 years in teaching and counseling and in addition, has more than 20 years experience working with alternative natural energy healing therapies that readily compliment alternative medicine practices. The foundation of her work is "conscious change". These include extensive training with the developers of Transformational Kinesiology (TK)®, The Reiki System of Natural Healing and The TRAGER® Approach. She has a Masters Degree in Education Counseling from The Ohio State University. Shiranda brings this experience to her sessions and classes.
It really all begin for Shiranda when she attended weekly group counseling and discovered she was fascinated with how the two therapists worked together in facilitating the group. She wasted no time and enrolled in a counselor training program for fall semester and participated in a unique Gestalt Therapy/training program in Italy that summer. After graduating from the Masters Program she became a contract counselor, facilitating individuals and groups in a weekend alcoholism/DUI diversion program.
Shiranda found the same fascination with group dynamics many years later in her study of TK. Working within the dynamics of a group and team building is one of Shiranda’s strengths, as she has the ability to relate to the individual as well as to the needs of the group as a whole. Shiranda is a sensitive, caring facilitator and is a skilled and resourceful teacher.

"You are a remarkable woman and I feel very lucky to have been able to spend the time I did get to with you."
"I want to tell you - at the workshop - you did a beautiful job of dealing with (one person’s) tendency to interfere with the process. I have watched other facilitators work with her, and they have allowed her to distract from the flow. You were able to be kind while keeping things on track. You were great with (a second person) too. He was not easy - but you were right there in a very supportive way that kept things moving."
"You are a gifted teacher. Learning with you is easy and fun and yet profound."
